Strategy Guide For GTA 5 & V 1.0

The vehicle guide lists the four stats for every game in the vehicle, which is awesome. But on several pages "Acceleration" and "Braking" are reversed. Anybody with a brain would be able to spot this and disregard it, but there are obviously people rating this who are very annoyed by it. In previous guide books (notably the San Andreas guide for Xbox/PS2) there have been descriptions of where to find or game gta v how to ascertain certain cars. That isn't really apparent here, aside from a mention of where certain rare cars can be purchased on the game's internet app. I'd consider this just enough to knock a star off my rating. It's kind of odd. Not to mention there are typos and other instances where descriptions, photos, and items on a map are jumbled. This can make finding certain things or triggering certain missions confusing. In a game where seeking out so many items and missions is so important, mod gta an official guide should be edited and proofread a lot better.

The actual layout of the book bothers me. It's just not intuitive to have certain maps printed so small or lists of items arranged alphabetically. I can't explain this efficiently enough, but a perfect example would be that the first three stunt jumps as listed in the book are on opposite sides of them map. If you wanted to hop on a bike and go do all the stunt jumps in order, following along with this book will have you driving to opposite ends of the map as opposed to doing one, then doing the one nearby, etc etc etc until you found them all.grand theft auto 5 mobile I don't know if this applies to letter scraps, hidden packages, or space ship parts (I haven't started those yet), but I do know this is the case for stunt jumps and random events. Of course you can do these in any order and just cross them off as you go, but a good guide would list the most efficient ways to find these items. Also, some items are color coded while listed and dotted on a map (armor vs weapons) but when you flip the page to detailed descriptions, they're all labeled with the same color, which I found inconsistent.

As a few people have mentioned, the actual mission guide is not very detailed.grand theft auto 5 mobile The book tells you little more than the general outline of things that occur in the game. This sort of defeats the point of a 400+ page strategy guide. But people who are giving this only one star are ridiculous. It's very nice, and thorough as far as listing what the game has to offer, and obviously a lot went into organizing the information for all the games side quests and objectives.

All I can say I got from this book was car gta 5 grand theft auto v stats at glance (which can probably be found online now), weapons/armor/hidden items maps (also probably online), and some great detail about how to the actual mathematical breakdown of how to increase stats (probably online by now, though most likely plagiarized from this very book).
